Taman Sinar Harapan is an institution under the Social Welfare Department to provide care, protection and rehabilitation of the Disabled in Learning Disabilities (OKU)category. In addition, Taman Sinar Harapan is also gazetted as Safe Place for protection, especially for children with learning disabilities under the Children Act 2001.
